Fishez Quilt Pattern PDF
Stargazey patterns give you permission to make something beautiful without needing to be perfect
Requests for a Stargazey Fishez block have been huge. My problem in designing just one, with so many fish in the sea, is which type of fish to choose? Large or small, long or stubby, fat ones, skinny ones, fresh water or tropical – help!
After much thought I’ve made a very simple version without fiddly fins but giving a fat and skinny version in each of the three sizes – 3” x 6”, 4” x 8” and 6” x 12”. These fishez can be modified to have multiple-pieced bodies, or you could add fins or a mouth with 3-D flaps or applique! Hope you don’t get tired of cutting rectangles because once again that’s what we’re making our fishez from – no templates, cutting quite freely, and no fancy stitching – all with usual Stargazey ease.
This pattern also includes instructions for Fishez Shopping Bagz.
