FABRIC REQUIREMENTS

This PDF quilting pattern includes full fabric requirements, cutting instructions and step-by-step assembly guidance. You may customise it to your desired quilt size.

Sample size - 55” x 92 1/2“ (140cm x 235cm) single bed size (plus extra length)
(turned around, this odd size also covers the body of a queen size bed beautifully).
Purchase 55”-60” (1.5m) lengths. I would buy six to eight fabrics for this size.
Any excess can be used in the backing.
Colour choices are unlimited. A monochromatic like mine is serene but contrasting colours, large prints and solids will all work beautifully too.
Binding - 2/3yd (60cm) - although I used kimono scraps here too
also needed; batting, backing and thread

With freeform blocks like this, fabric requirements will vary from quilt to quilt. I give you minimums only. Be generous with your purchases as extra can always be used in the backing.
