Feature Block Bag

Multitudes of uses abound for this bag and it is a great one to make in multiples. The base defined by two simple seams and the bag is unlined and overlocked to make it quick. French seams would also make it a very sturdy alternative.

The handles, are made of one fabric folded in three and are securely stitched down the front and back of the bag then top stitched onto the top edge – they are very secure.

The two blocks were appliqued on at fun angles. I used embroidery floss, a large running stitch and button eyes to brighten up our fishy time at the market.
