Angelz Quilt Pattern PDF

These Guardian Galz and Christmas Cheerleaderz are here to grant your wishez. They could be fairiez but with their sweet faces you know they must be Angelz!

To make life sweeter, their facez and wingz aren’t pieced in, instead their curves are easily stitched with a turn through technique and slipped into a seam. The cloudz are turned through and appliqued in any place you desire. I’ve only made these darlingz in one size, 12” square, but consider this merely a place to start.

Options abound. Start by changing clothez, hair, facez, wingz, add shoez and then see where these charmers lead you.

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS

This PDF quilting pattern includes full fabric requirements, cutting instructions and step-by-step assembly guidance. You may customise it to your desired quilt size.

Sample size - 47” x 56” (120cm x 142cm)
Face & limbz – fat eighth of a flesh tone print
Hair – 9” square of a black solid
Dresses – 6” x 9” pieces of nine colourful prints
Wingz & Cloudz – 2/3 yd (60 cm) total of assorted white prints
Block Backgrounds – nine fat quarters of assorted pink prints
Block borders – 1/2 yd (50 cm) total of assorted coloured prints
First inner border – 1/4 yd (20 cm) of a pink print
Second inner Border – 1/4yd (25 cm) of a black & white stripe
Outer Border – 1/4 yd (25 cm) each of two black and white prints
Binding – 1/2 yd (40 cm) of a black print
Pellon/lightweight batting for wingz and cloudz – 1/2 yd (50 cm)
also needed; batting, backing and thread

With freeform blocks like this, fabric requirements will vary from quilt to quilt. I give you minimums only. Be generous with your purchases as extra can always be used in the backing.
