Catz Quilt Pattern PDF

These Stargazey Catz are all charm and no clawz. Their cheeky grins and wide eyes will attract even hard-hearted dog lovers like me.

I’ve designed two blocks, a simple Catz Face in 4”, 6”, and 8” blocks and also Sitting Catz in 6”, 8” and 10” blocks. Both blocks make a feature of the collar, a lovely way to inject more colour. Both are easy to make with no finicky matching of points.

Also included are instructions for Tall Catz - a lovely little quilt that will show you how to change the proportions of the blocks.

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS

This PDF quilting pattern includes full fabric requirements, cutting instructions and step-by-step assembly guidance. You may customise it to your desired quilt size.

Sample size - 59 1/2 ” x 74” (150cm x 188cm)
Catz - 2 yds (2m) of assorted orange prints
Nosez - 10” square of a black solid
Block backgrounds -3 yds (2.5m) of assorted pink prints
Inner Borders - 1 1/2 yds (1.3m) of assorted orange prints
Collarz - scraps of assorted colours
Backgrounds - 3 yds (2.5m) of assorted pink prints
Border & binding - 1 yd (80cm) of an orange print
also needed; batting, backing, thread and embellishments

With freeform blocks like this, fabric requirements will vary from quilt to quilt. I give you minimums only. Be generous with your purchases as extra can always be used in the backing.
