Party Chainz

I love using up tiny scraps of fabrics that would be otherwise destined for the bin. I adore the freedom of machine quilting with feed dogs down. Here I combine both interests to make multipurpose ‘quilt sandwiches’ destined for decorating.

After stitching these sandwiches they are cut into rectangles, edged with yarn, then linked together to make an heirloom version of paper chains.

Surely a good reason for a party?
