Pink Posse Quilt Pattern PDF

This sweet little quilt makes use of two simple blocks - SNOWBALLZ and DIAMONDZ.

Block instructions are included for a multitude of sizes enabling you to make a much bigger, smaller, or multi-sized version. I finished off the blocks with a little fused applique on my machine. This would be great as a wall hanging for a young girls room or the central focus of a medallion quilt.

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS

This PDF quilting pattern includes full fabric requirements, cutting instructions and step-by-step assembly guidance. You may customise it to your desired quilt size.

sample size - 48” x 36 1/2” (119cm x 90cm)
Flowers – 1/3yd (30cm) total of assorted pinks
Leaves – 1/2yd (50cm) total of assorted greens
Stalks – fat eighth of an orange print
Backgrounds – 2 1/4yd (2m) total of assorted pale blues
plus 8” (20cm) of your favourite background for the outer border background strips
Inner border – 1/4yd (20cm) of a yellow print
Binding – 1/3yd (30cm) of a pale blue print
Applique – Yellow/orange/green scraps for flower centres
Green yarn to edge centres – 2 yds (1.5m) total
Pink/orange/yellow yarn to edge centres – 2 yds (1.5m) total
Fusible web – 8” x 24”
Cotton batting – 8” x 12”
also needed: backing, batting & thread

With freeform blocks like this, fabric requirements will vary from quilt to quilt. I give you minimums only. Be generous with your purchases as extra can always be used in the backing.
