Sample size – 50" x 72" (127 cm x 183 cm)
Melonz – 4 yd (3.6 m) total of assorted pink fabrics
Backgrounds – 2.5 yd (2.3 m) total of assorted green fabrics
Binding – 20" (50 cm) of a green print (or leftover background fabrics pieced together)
Also needed: backing, batting, and thread.
With free-form quilts like this, fabric requirements will vary from quilt to quilt. The amounts given are minimums only. Be generous with your purchases, as any extra fabric can always be used in the backing.
